According to Christopher Andersen’s (72) revelation book Brothers and Wives, Prince Charles (73) is said to have been concerned about the skin color of his future grandson Archie (2) in front of his wife Camilla (74). Buckingham Palace vehemently denies this.
But the relationship between the heir to the throne and son Harry, 37, is said to have since broken down – until now. Now it is said that father and son exchanged a few words with each other again.
Charles was deeply affected when Harry and Meghan abandoned the family and moved abroad. Then there was a long radio silence. But now, the royal channels of communication have opened up again! One of the palace employees told the New York Post.
However, this does not mean that the relationship is as good as it used to be, or that they both have “deep weekly phone calls.” According to the insider, it’s just a cautious approximation. This means Prince Charles may soon be getting to know his granddaughter Lilipet (5 months) in person for the first time – until now, he’s only seen her in pictures.
Shared suffering is not on Harry’s agenda
In March, Prince Harry publicly washed the family’s soiled clothes in an interview with Oprah Winfrey (67). He claimed that both his father and brother William, 39, are trapped because they have high expectations as members of the royal family. and that his father “expects me to suffer like him because I was also born into a cycle of pain and suffering.” What Prince Harry particularly resented of his father: “Just because you had to suffer yourself, it doesn’t mean that your children should suffer too!”
A joint dinner that never happened
Another claim by Prince Harry that his father was financially impeached was refuted by Buckingham Palace’s official financial report this summer. Subsequently, Prince Charles supported his sons in 2020 with the equivalent of approximately six million francs.
Originally, father and son were supposed to get together to have dinner together in June and talk about their differences. But dinner never happened. (c/cog)
