Adrenalin Edition 24.4.1: When the Manor Lords arrive tomorrow, the driver will be ready

With driver release 24.4.1, AMD is bringing existing Radeon graphics cards with optimizations for Manor Lords. There are also performance improvements for Helldivers 2, two new HYPR profiles and support for additional Vulkan plugins.

Improvements for Lords of Manor

Released tomorrow, Manor Lords is a promising city building simulator that's already on the wish lists of millions of players. At the moment, it is an incomplete early access version and does not impose any high requirements on the system.

Nvidia actually prepared the Geforce driver for Manor Lords a week ago.

New HYPR Tune profiles

AMD has bundled a feature package for Radeon under HYPR-RX, which includes upscaling technologies (FSR, RSR), latency improvements (Anti-Lag) and power saving measures (FRTC). AMD offers “enhanced” profiles (HYPR-Tune) for certain games via its software. The following titles are now supported by the update:

• Nightingale
• Skull and bones

Fixed and opened bugs

the “Performance improvements for Helldivers 2“, which AMD tops the list of fixed bugs. Additionally, crashes in Lords of the Fallen, Enshrouded, Overwatch 2, SteamVR, and Microsoft Teams are said to have been fixed within certain combinations. The driver also addresses potential graphical errors (artifacts) in SnowRunner or Horizon Forbidden West The following listings from AMD also provide details of the remaining issues.

Fixed bug list

• Performance improvements for HELLDIVERS 2.
• Intermittent application crashes while playing Lords of the Fallen and entering certain areas can be observed on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics products.
• IArtifacts may appear in certain muddy environments while running SnowRunner on some AMD graphics products, such as the Radeon RX 6800.
• Rainbow-like artifacts may appear in water environments while running Horizon Forbidden West™ Complete Edition on Radeon RX 6000 series graphics products.
• Intermittent application crashes or driver timeouts may be observed while playing Overwatch 2 with Radeon Boost enabled on the Radeon RX 6000 and later series graphics products.
• The app freezes intermittently when launching SteamVR for the first time using the Quest Link feature in Meta Quest 2.
• System or app crashes intermittently when sharing screen using Microsoft Teams.
• The application crashes intermittently while changing Anti-Aliasing settings while running Enshrouded on Radeon 7000 series graphics products.
• Display colors may appear “dumb” or “washed out” after turning off the built-in display with Auto HDR enabled.

List of pending errors

• Black corruption can be observed while running Alien Isolation on Radeon 7000 series graphics products.
• Corruption may be observed while playing Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition or Alan Wake 2 with Radeon Boost enabled. Users facing this issue are advised to disable Radeon Boost as a temporary solution.
• Max Payne 1 and 2 may fail to run on RDNA 3 series graphics products when the Anti-Aliasing feature is enabled.
• Texture clicking can be observed while playing Hitman: Contracts.[Resolution targeted for 24.5.1]
• Intermittent stuttering immediately after pressing the Alt key with performance metrics overlay enabled. [Resolution targeted for 24.5.1]
• Audio and video may become intermittently out of sync while recording using the AV1 codec in AMD: Adrenalin Edition. [Resolution targeted for Q3]
