Padded briefs have been around for a long time, and are casually overlooked by amateurs. But they weren't mainstream yet. And now British department store Marks & Spencer can help them achieve a major milestone, launching the Bum Booster in May. For 15 pounds, you can buy yourself a stylish dress, and for once what is supposed to look good is also very comfortable for the wearer: because thanks to the padded bottom of the trousers, you always have your own pillow with you.
In contrast to the Wonderbra, which was perhaps an engineering masterpiece thanks to its compression and space displacement effect, the rear speaker appears to have a completely minimalist design. However, it should not be underestimated. Angelina Jolie once slipped a particularly nasty butt pad into the middle of the red carpet. The sight of the cheeks hung so askew that they can no longer be found online. In this way, the Bum Booster has the same problem as the Wonderbra – when you deflate it, the whole thing collapses and returns to its original, exhausted state.
In the “Snapshot” section of the Sunday newspaper, Bettina Weber comments on a current photo each week.
