To skip forward or backward in a video, simply double-tap on the left or right side of the screen. The process is similar to the feature on YouTube, where users can fast forward or rewind videos by swiping two fingers across the screen.
To test this new feature, you need to sign up for the WhatsApp Beta program for Android. Once you are part of the program, the latest beta update can be easily downloaded from the Google Play Store.
