Microsoft has stated that downloading the 23H2 update for Windows 11 is not possible via the Media Creation Tool at this time. This position must be applied for either the second or third week of November.
Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 11 Update 23H2 (or Windows 11 2023 Update) will not be downloaded via the Media Creation Tool (MCT) at this time. Before that, Microsoft must improve the update delivery process before it can be downloaded via the tool. A Microsoft spokesperson explains that the Windows 11 2023 Update will not be available via the Media Creation Tool until the second or third week of November 2023. More specific details are not yet available.
Using the Media Creation Tool, users can upgrade their PC or perform a complete reinstall of Windows 11. MCT either prepares the installation stick or creates a corresponding ISO file. Of course, Microsoft also provides its own Windows 11 ISOs, but the ISO contents can be customized using the media creation tool. When Microsoft releases a new Windows feature update, it’s usually available almost immediately through the usual channels, including the Media Creation Tool.
