This is after the recent update to Windows 11 Deskmodder noticed – a problem that keeps coming back. This came at the beginning of the year Online Journal Windows Report Issues with update KB5007651 for the Windows Security Platform.
At that time, there was a conflict with a third-party antivirus software, so KB5007651 crashed during installation and could not be used by many Windows 11 users. This time, a problem appeared after the installation was completed.

As Deskmodder writes, the “Protection by Local Security Authority” built into Windows Security / Device Security is deactivated after the update. If you look for the error on various forums, it becomes clear that often an error message is displayed stating that the protection has been deactivated, but the switch is set to “on”, so the function must be activated. Deskmodder has also noted this effect. After manual activation and subsequent reboot, the reactivation message also appears, although the protection is displayed as activated in the settings. So far, there is no information from Microsoft about the KB5007651 issue. If the compatibility issue is with antivirus solutions again, you will have to wait for updates.
