Blizzard has announced the first expansion for Diablo 4, titled Vessel of Hatred, which takes place in a new region and revolves around the demon Mephisto. However, you will have to wait a long time for the new content to appear, as the release is not planned until the end of 2024. Until then, of course, there are the usual events and seasons.
At this year’s Blizzcon, RPG Diablo 4 is of course once again one of the main topics. In keeping with this, during the opening ceremony that aired yesterday, there was not only a look back at the recent changes to the game, but there was also an announcement: Blizzard revealed the name of the first expansion.
Mephistopheles in focus
Hate ship It is supposed to be called, and according to the announcement, it will deal with the story of the master of hatred, the devil Mephisto. This means that players can look forward to a new story, which will also take place in a new area: you must… Hate ship To a place called Nahanto Travel. We’ll likely see this in the short trailer, which shows an overgrown forest and a temple-like building.
In addition, Blizzard announced a new class for the first expansion of Diablo 4 that has not yet been present in any of the Diablo parts. However, the company does not provide any further details. The available information shouldn’t be that specific, as the Hate Ship version is still a long way off. According to Blizzard, it will be launched at the end of 2024. The company plans to reveal more details next summer.

For now, Diablo 4 players should prepare for a waiting period, which Blizzard wants to bridge as the seasons change.
