In collaboration with manufacturer Viltrox, Rollei introduces a high-speed autofocus lens for Fuji X series APS-C cameras. The Viltrox AF 75mm F/1.2 XF Pro is the first representative of the new Viltrox Pro series. The optical system consists of 16 lenses in 11 groups, including three ED lenses. Weighing in at 670g, the metal-cased lens offers a telephoto distance of 88cm and is equipped with an AF-MF switch, an aperture ring for optional manual aperture selection, and a 77mm filter thread. The Viltrox AF 75mm F/1.2 XF Pro lens sets new standards with its ultra-wide aperture
Norderstedt, 01/23/2023. Rollei has great news for all Fuji photographers: the new AF 75mm F/1.2 XF Pro lens is presented in collaboration with manufacturer Viltrox. The first lens in the new Pro series features an impressive aperture, special glasses and three ED lenses, meaning it impresses with excellent quality and is improved in every way. Compatible with Fuji X-series cameras, the APS-C fixed focal length lens delivers exceptionally sharp images and a beautifully rendered virtual experience.
The AF 75mm F / 1.2 XF Pro supports not only manual focus and autofocus, but also eye-detection AF, which automatically focuses on the eyes. A lens-mounted AF and manual focus mode switch enables quick switching between manual focus and autofocus. In addition, thanks to its fast and noiseless STM focus motor, it can also be used especially well for video recordings, for example. The lens has an aperture ring for manually adjusting the aperture.
Due to its slightly longer focal length of 75mm, it is ideal for portraits and details in street photography. The lens has a sturdy metal housing and consists of 11 lens groups with 16 glasses of the highest optical quality, which characterize the new Pro series from Viltrox. The built-in USB-C port allows future firmware updates to be installed.
The scope of delivery of the new product also includes a lens hood, a lens hood and a transport bag, which provides optimal protection during transportation.
