ViewSonic has released a new all-in-one display for use in “conference rooms, lobbies, waiting areas, and similar environments.” The LDP216-251 measures 216 inches diagonally and consists of direct-view LEDs in SMD (3-in-1) construction, which promise a service life of up to 100,000 hours and are designed for 24/7 operation.
The datasheet lists a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and also a brightness of 600 cd/m2, a contrast of 6000:1 and a pixel pitch of 2.5mm. The Android 9.0 operating system is based on 64GB of RAM, and in combination with the integrated MTK9669 SoC and 4GB of DDR4 RAM, this allows the screen to be used independently. With Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes, content from up to four different sources can be displayed.
The pre-installed ViewBoard Cast software solution makes it easy to share content across devices. If desired, the all-in-one display can also handle 4K and HDR signals. Audio is played through two 20-watt Harman Kardon internal speakers. Furthermore, IP30 protection is provided for the front of the screen.
Interfaces include HDMI 2.1, RJ-45, RS232, USB-A, USB-C, and WLAN (dual-band). Its weight is 300 kg and its depth is 25 mm ViewSonic LDP216-251 According to the manufacturer, it is now available for €176,999 and can be set up by two people within two hours. By the way, the typical power requirement is 2500 watts. A remote control is included in delivery.
