Bobby Wood’s football career is in decline (28). Now the former HSV star is suffering from a new low in MLS.
The basics in brief
- Bobby Wood has played for HSV, Union Berlin and Hannover 96, among others.
- However, his career was interrupted. In the summer he moved to America.
- Now he was replaced on Saturday in the 13-year-old’s second team.
Bobby Wood attracted attention once in the second German Bundesliga. The striker had his successful days at Union Berlin and later at HSV. Now the American is back home and is going through challenging days.
In the summer of 2021, the 28-year-old left northern Germany and returned abroad. Now the striker plays for Real Salt Lake City.
Wood’s career in his new American club also faltered. He has scored only two goals in the previous twelve matches. It was quite a target for international Americans.
As if that wasn’t enough, Wood has now been relayed to Real Salt Lake City’s second team.
It got worse this past weekend. Bobby Wood is taken off the field in the second team after 61 minutes.
The former HSV star will be replaced by 13-year-old Axel Key (born in 2007)! A new low point in Bobby Wood’s career.
Will Bobby Wood find his way back to his old power?
