Among other things, the new mobile application should be available by the end of the year. The aim is to be the “leading multi-channel retailer” in Switzerland, according to the press release.
Expansion of products and services as well
This move leads to changes especially in the headquarters in Basel. It is planned to cut 80 jobs here. Minors rely on natural volatility and early retirement.
When this is not possible, employees receive support in finding a job and in the application process. The social plan negotiated with employee representatives is ready.
It is not only expanding the Internet area, but also the range of products and services. The priorities are to expand the field of “cosmetics and perfumes”, modernize the concept of fashion and expand the range of products in the food sector.
