no time? Blue News sums it up for you

  • Former couple Shakira and Gerard Piqué have publicly dealt with their split.
  • As the footballer now says, people still don’t know the whole truth.
  • He deliberately refrained from the mockery of his ex-wife and the media, “otherwise I would have thrown myself from the sixth floor.”

Gerard Pique (36 years old) speaks in more detail for the first time about the separation from his former partner Shakira (46 years old). In an interview with Catalan radio station RAC1, the former professional footballer says he only survived all of this because he protected himself from the accusations. After the famous duo broke up in the summer of 2022, Shakira, among other things, directed a sharp attack at Pique in one of the songs.

“I can’t go out every day and deny things that aren’t true,” Pique says in an interview. “People don’t even know ten percent of everything that happened,” he asserts. The 36-year-old did not want to talk about details.

Gerard Piqué and Shakira have been a couple for about twelve years. According to media reports, Pique was repeatedly seen with a much younger student, Clara Chia Marti (24 years old), after the breakup. The two are now a couple. At the beginning of the year, he posted a photo together on Instagram for the first time.

The time after the breakup was not easy

Shortly before, Shakira released the song “BZRP Music Sessions #53” with producer and DJ Bizarrap (25). “I traded the Ferrari for a Twingo. “I traded my Rolex for a Casio,” she gushed to her former partner and Martis, among others.

Pique noted in the conversation that the period following the breakup with the singer was not easy at all: “If I had given importance to what was said about me, I would be locked in an apartment now or I would be on the sixth floor.” He falls.”

Shakira and Piqué met while filming the music video for her song “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)”, the official song of the 2010 World Cup. They met soon after. Their first son Milan was born in early 2013, and their second son Sasha was born in 2015. The couple finally announced their separation in the summer of 2022.
