Microsoft rolled out the first Windows 11 Insider 2022 update – that’s new


Microsoft released the first Windows Insider Update this year. Who is the Windows 11 In the dev channel, it’s now getting an update that fixes a number of bugs and starts making improvements. Some things are new too

Microsoft has released a new preview build of Windows 11 in the Insider Program. For Windows Insider in Dev-Channel, there’s now a new preview to try with build number 22526. The list of changes for this build is longer again this time – but so is the list of persistent issues. Additionally, there are now some beta changes that will be rolled out only to some Insiders. This includes, for example, displaying ALT+TAB as a window instead of full screen for some Insiders and expanding Explorer’s search options. Known issues remain

Among other things, the Windows team has fixed the bug-checking bug that caused sudden crashes and reboots. In addition, the search in File Explorer has been improved and crashes that may have occurred when searching in File Explorer have been fixed. Changes and improvements

  • We are experimenting with displaying ALT + TAB as a window instead of full screen for some insiders.
  • We have support for broad speech output when using An apple AirPods products (AirPods, AirPods Pro or AirPods Max) have been added, improving the sound quality of voice calls.
  • Starting with version 22518, Credential Guard is now enabled by default on licensed PCs running Windows 11 Enterprise (E3 and E5) connected to the company.
  • We’re experimenting with indexing additional file locations to make finding important files faster in File Explorer.
