London. Lufthansa advertising for standard flights is banned in Great Britain. British advertising regulator the Advertising Standards Authority said on Wednesday that the ad creates a false impression of the company’s environmental friendliness.

The slogan “Fly more stable” has been criticized. The advertised “Green Fares” option is said to reduce some of the environmental impact when traveling with the airline. However, the supervisory authority concluded that the basis for the claim of “flying with high stability” was not clearly stated in the advertisement. According to British news agency PA, Lufthansa said it would no longer use the slogan in future advertisements.
Similar ads from Air France and Etihad, which appeared on Google in the UK in July, were banned on the same grounds.
