English Premier League: Hodgson in hospital

Former Swiss national coach Roy Hodgson was hospitalized on Thursday. The 76-year-old felt unwell during a training session with Crystal Palace, which plays in the English Premier League. The London club did not reveal any details about the health problems that the Englishman suffers from.

Andre Breitenreiter, coach of 2022 champions FC Zurich, has found a new club. The German is coaching Huddersfield Town, which plays in the English second division. Breitenreiter will struggle with his new team against relegation, as Huddersfield is currently separated by 5 points from the relegation zone. Following his time in Switzerland, the 50-year-old had an unsuccessful spell with Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga and was without a club for a year.
