Prince Harry, 36, and Duchess Meghan, 40, have struck lucrative deals worth into the millions with streaming giants Netflix and Spotify. For their contract with Netflix alone, the two should receive around 150 million francs.
That is why it is difficult to imagine the new reports from England: the spouses still have to owe money to a non-profit organization. The debt comes from a former charity in Sussex. This was reported by British media such as “The Sun”.
Harry and Meghan are said to owe the organisation, whose name is not known, £78,500 – roughly 100,000 francs. According to the documents, part of the payment is still due. When the two formally dissolved MWX, they said they would settle the debt within a year. But even more than a dozen months later, it may not have happened yet – part of the payment is still open. However, Adam Stevens, the corporation’s liquidator, stated that the organization had enough capital to “pay the claim in full.”
Harry and Meghan want to financially stand on their own two feet
With their collaborations with Netflix and Spotify, their TV appearances and Meghan’s recently published children’s book, the couple will surely be able to pay the remainder from their personal account. Harry and Meghan have been living with their two children Archie (2) since last year The Lilibet (3 months) in the United States of America. They wanted to finance themselves and build a life independent of the British monarchy.
