Now Ellie’s last name has been officially confirmed in the game.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will be released for PS5 in January 2024, offering not only graphical and technical improvements, but also new content such as the Roguelike No Return mode. The unlockable skin now finally confirms a small but not unimportant detail about heroine Ellie: her last name can be seen on the suit (via IGN).

This is Eli’s last name

Eli Williams It is the full name of the heroine of The Last of Us. This can now be seen for the first time in a game in the post-apocalyptic series, specifically on the nameplate of the unlockable astronaut suit:

Many die-hard TloU fans will know Eli’s last name for a long time. This was confirmed, among other things, in the Japanese version’s manual when the original was released in 2013. But it has not been explicitly stated in the game yet.

Joel’s full name was also not known for a long time. The fact that the angry survivor’s name is “Miller” is finally confirmed in The Last of Us: Part 2.
