Convinces Dominic Bittner of an unfortunate defeat against the United States

Peißenberg – It’s time for the penultimate group game. Dominic Bitner celebrated his World Cup debut against the USA with the Germany ice hockey team jersey.

Television pundit Rick Goldman believed Peißenberger did well in his world premiere. But this did not change the fact that the German national team lost 2-0 and thus continued to shiver to enter the knockout stage.

“We played a good game and deserved the points,” said Bitner, who showed himself to be present in the duels and gave his passes safely to his teammates. “The US was lucky with a 1-0 goal, which we missed a little bit, because we could have scored one or two,” regrets Bitner, who also had two shots in the last half, but the Americans saved them.

Despite the significant increase in shots, the Germans had to admit defeat with an empty goal in the end. “We can still be proud of the performance. We have to continue like this against Latvia, I am convinced we can win too”, explained Beisenberger before the “Final” for a place in the knockout round against the home team.
