The green space climbs to the faade of two towers, one of which reaches 365 meters above the sky and the other at least 273 meters. It will become the tallest building in Australia – formerly known as the Q1 Tower on the Gold Coast at 322.5 meters.

Garden of more than 12,500 square meters at a mesmerizing height

The new building – named STH BNK by Puella – is scheduled for completion in 2028 and will cost AUD 2.7 billion. It is not only the tallest building in Australia but also one of the finest hotels in the country. Four Seasons Melbourne is about to go to the top floor of the West Tower. Guests will enter the 200+-room hotel through the Sky Lobby on the 63rd floor. In addition to a restaurant and a bar on the roof, health and wellness benefits and several event rooms are planned.

Various gardens are to be created on the facades. Trees can be planted even taller, while ferns and shrubs can grow in the basement. In total, the vertical garden will have an area of ​​more than 12,500 square meters. The whole campus should look like a mini metropolis. In addition to hotels and public gardens, there will be areas for private residences, auditoriums, office space, shops, kindergarten and health, arts and culture.

Award-winning skyscraper in Sydney

The new project is not the first tall building in Australia to include a vertical garden as a feature. Sydney already has a building that has garnered worldwide attention: Shortly after its completion, One Central, created by French architect Jean Novel, was named the world’s “tallest” tallest building by the Council for Tall Buildings. And Urban Habitat in Chicago (CTBUH). The award-winning One Central operates with the principles of wind, light and sun in the central district of Sipandale. The future concept of integrating nature in the city also received special mention.

Also, the campus in Sydney has two towers connected by a set of shops and restaurants. There are a total of 623 apartments. From a distance, One Central initially has something grotesque about it. At least it seems to violate the laws of gravity and static. Aside from the numerous balconies and the steeply green high wall, a monumental chandelier breaks off from the tall tower. This 40-meter-long cantilever adds a futuristic element to the city’s airwaves, with a heliostat attached to the bottom.

The tallest wooden tower is being built in Sydney

Not far from Central, another innovative project is currently under development in Sydney – a kind of tallest wooden tower: the “hybrid tower” made of wood, glass and steel, funded by two founding founders. Atlasian, their software company, manages Australia’s rich.
