Nearly two years ago, dinosaur shooter Instinction came out with a first impression of the graphical capabilities they wanted to achieve by switching to Unreal Engine 5. Since then, things have been pretty quiet about the first title from New Zealand development studio Hashbane Interactive, but Over the past weekend, the team released a new gameplay snippet on YouTube.
The seven-minute trailer shows the beginning of Instinction and focuses primarily on lighting and texture effects, the quality of which is also generating excitement in the YouTube comments. Two more videos will be released later this year, going into more detail about the game itself. According to plans, the next trailer will primarily show the combat system with human and dinosaur opponents, and individual weapons and “unique mechanics” will also be showcased.
Finally, the third video showcases the game's destructible items and other mechanics before Instinction's early access phase follows.
