At Inter Milan, Yann Sommer got a well-deserved break in the Coppa Italia. The Swiss was replaced by Emil Odero and watches from the bench as no goals were scored between his Inter side and FC Bologna in normal time. The best chance for that goes to star striker Lautaro Martinez, who missed a penalty kick against Federico Ravaglia. As soon as extra time began, the bell rang in Bologna’s penalty area: Carlos Augusto headed home in the 92nd minute to give the Serie A leaders the lead.
But Bologna, led by Swiss captain Michel Aebischer, is not giving up. In the 112th minute of the match, Sam Bokema equalized. Because Joshua Zirkzee sent Dan Ndoye on his way in the 116th minute of the match.
