A little less than a week, then Microsoft Flight Simulator lands on Xbox Series X/S. For the first time, part of the legendary simulation series will also appear on consoles and, like its PC counterpart, will take up a lot of space on your hard drive.
How big is the Flight Simulator on Xbox? Because as Flight Simulator’s official Xbox Store page shows, you should 123 GB Free shovel on your hard drive so you can install the title.
This value applies to the Standard and Deluxe editions of the game. That’s a big part especially for an Xbox Series S hard drive, because Microsoft’s current “mini” console SSD has a manageable capacity of 512GB.
The PC version has already given some guesswork
It was not surprising, because on the one hand there is a lot to see in Flight Simulator – you can see nothing less than the entire world from the air – and on the other hand, the PC version of the simulator, released last year, consumed at least 150 gigabytes of storage space.
The difference in memory size is probably due to the fact that the origins of the console version are likely not at the same level as the PC version. You don’t have to worry that the emulation side will suffer on Xbox:
Microsoft Flight Simulator will not affect the simulation on Xbox
Microsoft Flight Simulator puts you in the cockpit of several models of aircraft that you can control the world over. Due to the focus of the simulation, everything is controlled in a demanding manner, but there are many lessons and tutorials to start the game.
Microsoft Flight Simulator release date in 27 July 2021Right at launch, the title will also appear on Xbox Game Pass.
Will you try the flight simulator?
