Roger Schawinsky regrets that he loved the “highly esteemed state satirists” Giacopo and Müller. Former Federal Chancellor Ueli Maurer is extremely bitter towards the SRG today over the satirical broadcast

Ueli Maurer, former deputy chairman of the Federal Council, would prefer to receive “compensation” from the SRG rather than pay the fee himself.

What he said in conversation with World week He said, was now the subject of the “Roger vs. Marcos” program on Radio 1, in which its founder Roger Chawinski and mistpletter-Publisher Marcus Sum They pitch against each other every week.

But here they agreed once. Ueli Maurer’s dislike of SRG has good reason: he has performed “systematically” poorly on SRF channels for years. Sum said he was portrayed as an “idiot.”

This is especially true of the satirical show “Giacopo/Müller”. There, Victor Giacopo often mocked the Federal Council. Maurer turned out to be a mentally limited and somewhat stupid person.

Schawinski said that was “inhumane.” This was permissible under the banner of satire, but in other forms it would have been insulting.

It is not surprising that Ueli Maurer is so bitter about the SRG today. What the “highly praised state satirists” would have allowed themselves to do “is simply not possible.”

“Today he feels a little ashamed because I laughed with you,” Roger Chawinsky continued.
