Big changes will come in the British royal family. According to several British media reports, after the family’s talk about Queen Elizabeth II’s (96th) jubilee, plans are being made that could turn the life of the royal family upside down this year. Much must change, especially for Prince Andrew (62), the family of Prince William (39) and Duchess Kate (40). Because the move has to come to both parties.
According to the Daily Mail, the Queen recently had secret talks with the Duke of York and senior members of the royal family about how to help Prince Andrew rebuild his life “out of the public eye”.
Will Andrew move to Scotland?
At a family meeting at Windsor Castle, they set out to determine what role the Duke could play and which would be acceptable to the public after the abuse trial against him. While Andrew was determined to keep his property at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, the option was raised to rebuild his life in Scotland.
There must also be a big change in William, Kate, and their children. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are moving into a house on the estate of Windsor Castle, according to the Sunday Times. This means that their two oldest children, Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 7, will leave Thomas Battersea at the end of the semester and attend a school near their new home. Prince Louis (4) will also go to school there from September.
‘They are quite limited in what they can do in London’
According to the British newspaper, the family is expected to move to the main Windsor Castle over time as Prince William’s father, Prince Charles, 73, will be based in Buckingham Palace and does not intend to spend as much time in Berkshire as the Queen. He is currently doing it when he takes over as king. However, William and Kate will retain their home in Kensington Palace, which will remain the base of their private and press offices, and will continue to make frequent trips to their Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.
A source said, “They absolutely love her. It’s her happy place.” The royal couple are said to also plan to make Anmer their permanent home “after the school years”, but for now they are excited about the freedom the massive Windsor estate will give their families. A source said: “The truth is they are very limited in what they can do in London. Kids can’t go to the park and kick football with friends. Her plan is to be there for the next 10-15 years and then move to Anmer, which is her own thing.” (BSN/Bang)
