Pericles, a four-year-old Street Bass son, scored his second Group C victory in the Tramway Stakes (Gr.II) at Sydney’s spectacular Randwick track. Pericles, who recently finished second in the ATC Rosehill Guineas (Gr.I), is a son of the first-class dam Accessories, who is also responsible for two Group I winners and successful breeding stallions Helmet and Epaulet and others. The group winners were pearls and bulbars, so Pericles marked his mother as the fifth group winner overall.
