Austin – Sergio Perez managed the best time at Red Bull in the last free training session before qualifying for the Grand Prix in the United States.
The Mexican took 1: 34.701 minutes to 5.5 kilometers and was 0.104 seconds ahead of Carlos Sains on Ferrari. World Championship champion Max Verstappen of the Netherlands has canceled his best lap as he left the track illegally, but is the third fastest in training. World champion Lewis Hamilton’s best fold is not counted. The Mercedes driver from Great Britain finished the session in sixth place, 0.518 seconds behind Perez.
Sebastian Vettel at Aston Martin didn’t put much emphasis on fast laps because he had to start from behind to change the machine on Sunday, and finished eleventh in the third training session. Mick Schumacher and his Haas were in second place ahead of Nikita Masebin of Russia, who did not fold quickly.
