The helicopter is from Cyrax
One of the most discussed topics in the latest update 0.134 is the change to Cyrax’s horizontal helicopter attack. According to tweets from @mitsounis The attack now costs a full bar to use, preventing spamming. “Players can finally breathe a sigh of relief that they will no longer be endlessly harassed by Cyrax’s helicopter,” says the famous Mortal Kombat analyst.
Ice clone EX of Sub-Zero
Even the icy cold Sub-Zero does not remain unaffected. His EX Ice Clone ability no longer freezes enemies. Instead, it now deals damage and causes opponents to fall to the ground. This mod adds a new dynamic to battles with Sub-Zero.
Raiden’s aerial combo
Raiden’s air set 2,2,4 is also changed. Removed the following attack that previously occurred after hitting enemies on the ground. This change may change combo strategies for Raiden fans.
Improvements in quality of life
Online players will now be automatically muted and in-game sounds will appear again. In addition, a new mode called Forever King of The Hill has been introduced, providing another means of player interaction. Not to mention, the Cage Mansion now features a spooky Halloween theme.
HUD and online options
Update 0.134 brings customization options to the forefront. Players can now pin moves to their display for easy access during gameplay. The ping/connection indicator can also be activated in-game via online options. Players also have the option to mute voice chat and microphones via the Audio Settings menu.
Halloween fans can rejoice as a special Halloween killer has been added to the featured store. Additionally, we fixed the annoying issue where the yellow notification for new items wouldn’t disappear. The update also includes general gameplay fixes to improve the gaming experience.
The community has been very positive about the update, with players on Steam reporting that the game became much smoother after the patch. However, there are some small weaknesses that make it not quite perfect. “The console version is still superior, but the gap is narrowing,” one player noted in one of the games Steam discussion.
