April 23 has become a very special day for the British Royal Family. Prince Louis, the youngest son of Prince William and Princess Kate, has not only turned six years old, but his parents also have reason to celebrate. On his grandson's birthday, King Charles III distributed several royal positions and titles within the royal family.

As Buckingham Palace announced on Tuesday, the 75-year-old has named his daughter-in-law Kate a Companion of the Order of Honour. The award is given to people who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of art, science, medicine, and public service. The 42-year-old Princess of Wales, who like Charles recently revealed she had cancer, will be accepted into the system as a royal attendant.

William and Camilla also received additional titles

A great honor and a first, because no Royal has ever been awarded the title of 'Royal Companion of the Order of the Honor'. Charles appointed his son and heir to the throne, William, “Grand Master of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath”. This title is given to military or public service members for exemplary service.

The king did not leave his wife out either. Queen Camilla has been made a Grand Master and First Lady or Master of the Grand Cross of the Order of the British Empire. Charles appointed four new members to Great Britain's most important knightly order, the Order of the Garter or 'Order of the Garter'. It now includes, among others, his younger brother's wife Prince Edward, Duchess Sophie, and music legend Andrew Lloyd Webber.
