before release Final Fantasy XVI Square Enix is moving the advertising barrel again – and not just in the classic sense. The Paws of Valisthea event in Darlinghurst, Australia is now entirely dedicated to man’s best friend.
On June 17, dog owners can get a glimpse of the game as their four-legged companions slip into some kind of cosplay inspired by the game’s Espers. The event takes place in Darlow’s Bar, across from the entry Evenbright Free of charge.
Cosplay, treats and lotteries
In fact, dogs are only optional. If players don’t have a torgal on their side and want to change that fact, there is an adoption event on site in collaboration with RSPCA NSW. There are also all kinds of treats for the four-legged friends. There will also be a contest – participants can win a PlayStation 5 here. By the way, if you are less in Darlinghurst and more in London, you should detour to Bodean’s BBQ. A burger inspired by Final Fantasy XVI is waiting there to awaken your inner Ifrit.
