Initially, Swiss-Ski removed him from its squad, and then he was seriously injured. Now Daniele Sette is back in the World Cup.

Daniele Sette has had a difficult few months. After a season in which he collected just 20 World Cup points, Swiss-Ski dropped the giant slalom specialist from its lineup in the spring. At the end of July, the Graubünden native also ruptured his Achilles tendon.

But Set didn't let that discourage her. on the contrary. “I wanted to get back as quickly as possible. “Giving up was out of the question,” says the 31-year-old. Sette is – not for the first time – a member of the World Racing Team, where aspiring drivers from all over the world find shelter and train together.

Set celebrates her return to the World Cup after almost a year in the giant slalom in Palisades Tahoe (USA). Swiss-Ski has called him up for Saturday's race in California (live on SRF from 7pm).

For City, who have only participated once this winter (in the European Cup), this is an unexpected opportunity: “If you don't belong to a team, you won't get 100 chances. But I don't want to put too much pressure on myself and show my best.” .
