The Fuji GFX100 II offer is approaching. Now the first image and more technical data have been leaked.
The first image is of the Fujifilm GFX100 II
On September 12, 2023, Fujifilm will introduce the new medium format camera GFX100 II – now an open secret. The previously known specifications of the upcoming flagship phone look promising, and now the first image of the GFX100 II has been leaked:
The picture is on the Chinese platform Weibo published, so people were initially (rightly) skeptical about whether the Fujifilm GFX100 II would actually be seen. the site Fougerumors However, we have received confirmation from several sources that this is in fact a real photo of the new medium format camera. Since Fujirumors has excellent sources, we have no doubt that the information is correct.
Angled top plate and 8fps continuous shooting speed
Two features of the GFX100 II are not immediately apparent in the leaked image, but Fujirumors once again confirms that this information is correct. On the one hand, the camera will have a removable electronic viewfinder (this was already known before), and on the other hand, the GFX100 II – and we have not yet reported this at Photografix – will have an “angled top plate”. This should be especially useful so you can better read the small screen at the top.
Some other technical data was also leaked. For example, the continuous shooting speed of a 100MP camera should increase to 8 images per second with a mechanical shutter – where the previous camera was only able to capture 5 images per second. Furthermore, Fujifilm will likely install a full HDMI port and an Ethernet port.
In addition to the GFX100 II, Fujifilm is expected to introduce three new GF lenses. Rumor has it that these will be the GF 55mm f/1.7, GF 30mm f/5.6 Tilt Shift, and GF 110mm f/5.6 Tilt Shift.
