Getting a flight to Australia on the date you want wasn’t easy before the pandemic, but since Australia reopened its borders it’s become more expensive and even more difficult. There are no free seats even before half a year – cheap seats.

Now given by Arab Airlines Emirates From December 1, 2022, Airbus announced that it will use the A380 to expand its flight capacity to Australia on the Perth route. The increase will add nearly 500 seats to its seat capacity between its Dubai and Perth hubs.

Flight EK420 from Dubai departs at 02:45 and arrives Perth at 17:20 on the same day. Return flight EK421 departs Perth at 22:20 and arrives Dubai at 05:25 the next day. This daily A380 flight will replace the existing daily Boeing 777-300ER service between Dubai and Perth.

It is important to know that the Emirates feeder flight from Hamburg is not recommended as it has a layover of more than 20 hours at the Dubai hub. Connectivity from Frankfurt is almost perfect with just a 3-hour layover in Dubai.

Thanks to the codeshare partnership between Emirates and Qantas Passengers can book connecting flights to 55 cities in Australia and New Zealand.

In addition to services to Perth, Emirates flies twice daily A380 services from Dubai to Melbourne and Sydney and once daily from Dubai to Brisbane.
