Landis + Gyr just got a big order in the USA. A subsidiary has been commissioned by the National Electric Power Company to supply 1.4 million Revelo sensors.
According to a statement issued on Friday, “Revelo” electricity meters are used in the US state of Massachusetts. It is part of the next-generation Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) comprehensive project for clean energy integration.
The statement said the project received regulatory approval from the Massachusetts Department of Energy. This allows the national grid to modernize the electricity distribution system and install a corresponding AMI network in its service area.
The order is expected to be completed in 2027. There is no information on sales volume in the notification.
