Basel will cancel their training camp in Marbella in January. The reason for this is said to be financial considerations – and Bayern Munich.
On January 6, Bayern Munich will host Switzerland. The record German champions play a friendly match against FC Basel at St. Jakob-Park. This appears to be causing a re-planning at Swiss club Bayern Munich.
For the first time in years, Basel will not travel to the training camp in Marbella in January. Since the second half of the season starts on January 21, only a short trip after the match against Bayern will be possible. Bayern are abandoning this – apparently also due to financial considerations.
As Blake writes.Pepe can save about 200,000 francs. Instead of Spain, Fabio Celestini’s side will likely prepare for the second half of the season at the training grounds next to St. Jakob Park.
Firstly, there are two Premier League matches on the program this year. Bayern welcomes the Grasshoppers on Saturday at 6pm before the match away to Lucerne on December 17 to end the year. You can watch the two matches live on the blue Sport channel.
