More and more details about the two fastest arc cards of the Alchemist generation are becoming known more and more drop by drop and not through the usual channels. So far, only the technical data of the Arc A380 is officially known – also because it has been available in China for a few weeks and has been exported all over the world.
Intel sent out some more interesting information yesterday via Discord or to community contest participants (via Evan Stinger), which were not previously known in this form or have not yet been confirmed.
The Arc A750 will have 8GB of GDDR6 memory and the Arc A770 will have 16GB. This was published as part of the information for the winners of this ticket. Intel is also asking the winners to be patient. The cards are expected to be presented soon, but plan to release samples to the press first.

So far, the Arc A750 is supposed to have 24 Xe cores and thus 3,072 shaders, but in reality it should now have 28 Xe cores and 3,584 shaders. This got loud Moritz Lehmann Confirmed by Intel – also via Discord.
The Arc A770 has 32 Xe cores and 4,096 shaders. The number of ray tracing units corresponds to the Xe cores. The cards use the ACM G10 GPU, which has a 16MB L2 cache for rendering. Communication is via 16 PCI Express lanes. Thus, judging by the technical data, the Arc A750 and Arc A770 are quite close to each other.
There are no further details about the Arc A580, the mid-range solution. This also provides 8 GB of graphics memory, which, however, is only connected via a 128-bit wide memory interface. In addition, the TDP here should be 175 watts.
Another customized model of the Arc A380
In Asia, another custom design has appeared alongside the Gunnir Arc A380 Photon 6G. This is a sample from ASRock. This is handled by a single large axial fan and is powered via an 8-pin connector as well as the slot.

Resizable BAR also works on the AMD platform
Contrary to what was previously assumed and also described in the Intel Reviewer’s Guide, Resizable BAR (rBAR) also appears to run on AMD’s Ryzen platform. colleagues from computer base I tried it with the Ryzen 5 5600X on an ASUS ROG Strix B550-E Gaming and found that the Arc A380 achieves the same level of performance as the Core i5-12500, and turning off rBAR significantly reduces performance.
According to Intel, rBAR can no longer be sufficiently validated, but is expected to work (which it appears to work) and, above all, will work fine with other cards at the latest.
