Confusion continues surrounding the release of the previously PlayStation 5 exclusive suvival horror game The Last of Us Part 1 on PC. AMD has now released a beta driver originally intended for press testing for everyone to download, which increases performance but doesn’t solve the release’s many problems.

“AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 22.40.43.05 for the Last of Us Part 1,” the full name of the highly cryptically named experimental graphics driver, goes far beyond its post-apocalyptic optimizations staged in an atmosphere with Joel and Ellie improvements. Already integrated in Adrenaline 23.3.2.
The problems continued
Even if the experimental graphics driver with version number 22.40.43.05 can get a little more performance than the normal graphics driver, especially on current Radeon graphics cards based on the latest RDNA 2 and RDNA 3 GPU architectures, various problems remain, which are the ones that have been Yesterday’s release of The Last of Us Part 1 For PC side by side, it continues to exist.
