Very few people have been working in the same job at the same company for 27 years. Kevin Ford (54) is one of those few. He worked half his life as a chef and cashier at Burger King at the Las Vegas Airport. The American did not miss a single working day.

Serena Ford, daughter of Kevin Ford, has one for her dad GoFundMe fundraising program I started. The so-called crowdfunding has already raised more than $38,000. The fundraising goal was set at $50,000. “He certainly doesn’t expect you to donate any money, but if anyone wants to help him, he’ll be happy to visit his grandchildren again,” explains the daughter.
