Duchess Meghan talks about her naturalization test for British citizenship in her podcast.
Duchess Meghan, 41, wanted to become a British citizen in 2020. The mother of two now recounts this in the eighth episode of the Spotify podcast “The Archetypes” with comedian Pamela Adlon (56). “The naturalization test is so hard. I studied for it and I remember thinking, ‘Oh my God!'” Megan said. The comedian laughs that she thinks the audition made her too difficult.
The former actress goes on to say that even her husband Prince Harry, 38, had no answer to her questions. She asked, “Do you know that? Do you know that?” And Harry just said, “I have no idea.” To pass the test, 24 questions about British history and customs must be answered within 45 minutes.
She did not mention in the episode whether she holds a British passport or not. However, according to several British media outlets, she again abandoned her efforts. Because in the spring of 2020, the couple decided to step down as a royal. They are now living in California (USA) with their children Archie (3) and Lilibet (1).
Insight into family life
Speaking to the podcast comedian, Megan also opens up about how her daughter Lillipet is now starting to walk. She says maybe it won’t be quiet for much longer. With her daughter on her feet and eldest son Archie, things really got messy, adding, “I’m sure it’s going to get even messier as they get older.”
In the morning, things are as turbulent with the family as they are with many others. She brings her daughter and brings a lunch box for her son while Lillipet eats a little something. Half an hour later, Archie is already ready. Then she feeds her dogs and takes Archie to school. When asked if her husband would help her take care of the kids, she said, “Man? He’s amazing.” (to praise)
