The German Foreign Minister wants to learn about the future of energy supplies from the German company Advario on a Wednesday in September during her multi-day trip to the United States.
Among more than 100 containers, one tank stands out, shining bright white in the sun. It has just been completed and contains 70,000 cubic meters of ammonia – the largest tank of its kind in the world.
The colorless gas is one hope for the energy transition. Ammonia, which consists of hydrogen and nitrogen, makes energy from renewable sources much easier to transport and store. Storage like Advario is crucial for this purpose.
