EAccording to a media report, a US Air Force plane carried about 640 Afghan civilians safely on a single flight. The website “Defense One” on Monday released a packed photo of the interior of the C-17 transport plane, with Afghans seated on the ground – no longer known to all people. According to the site, the plane is said to have crashed late Sunday.
Defense One reports that panicked Afghans dragged themselves on a plane in Kabul in a half-open curve. The crew decided to fly instead of forcing people to disembark.
Security sources said 640 civilians boarded the plane after landing in Qatar. According to manufacturer Boeing, the large cargo plane is actually designed for 134 passengers.
The U.S. Department of Defense initially did not confirm the report. There was chaos at the airport in Kabul on Monday. The Taliban wanted to flee to the airport in Afghanistan and were taken to safety. Air traffic should be suspended.
