Emotions overcame Mira Weingart when she was supposed to jump off the gondola.
SRF presenter Mira Weingart (26 years old) lets her emotions run free in the “Fight 4 Flags” web show. When she had to jump off the gondola in the “Screaming Bungee Challenge”, panic was written on her face. Weingart, who recently administered the SRF virus, cried as she stood in front of the gondola’s open door. “I can’t stand it anymore,” she says, clearly at the limit.
In single player, she explains, “I had a complete meltdown.” This breakdown becomes more apparent after a few seconds: Weingart breaks the challenge. More tears come as she gasps for air in panic. The team on site should help the woman from Lucerne calm down again.
Height is nothing for Weingart
The radio presenter is known for her ruthless nature – but the challenge of throwing the ball at the target while jumping off the gondola was too much for her. “It’s funny that people think I’m someone who does things like that. But that’s really completely wrong.”
“Fight 4 Flags” is an SRF web show in which the four language regions of Switzerland compete against each other. The nominees are mostly young show heads from broadcasters SRF, RTS, RSI and RTR. In addition to Mira Weingart, web host Amila Redzic, 23, former comedian “Zoe am Murg” Ramin Youssoufzai, 29, and comedian Matthew Gudenrath, 27, are battling for the victory for German-speaking Switzerland. “Fight 4 Flags” is posted on YouTube every Wednesday. This week’s latest show is already available on SRF Play.
