Edinburgh (AP) – The Glasgow Rangers won the Europa League final against Eintracht Frankurft. On the final day of the Scottish Premiership, the Rangers defeated the Heart of Midlothian 3-1 (2-1). Peter Herring (24th minute) gave the hosts the lead on Saturday, with Cedric Eaton (33rd) and Alex Lori (45th + 1) retreating before the break. Then in the 81st minute Cole McKinnon recorded the final score.
“Go to Seville now,” the Rangers tweeted after the final whistle. Next Wednesday (9pm) Seville, Spain will clash with Hesion Bundesliga for the Europa League title.
The Rangers lost to rivals Celtic in the Scottish Championship. Celtic already clarified their 52nd championship on Wednesday.
