Shortly after his split from Swiss Severin Luthi, Boris Becker no longer worked as coach with Holger Röhn.
Boris Becker ended his collaboration with young Danish tennis star Holger Røhn (ATP 7) after less than 4 months. It became clear to him that as a coach he would have to be available to the 20-year-old “a lot more than I can”. “Due to professional and private commitments, I cannot give Holger what he needs,” Becker wrote. Just 6 days ago, Ron broke up with coach Severin Luthi. He worked with the Swiss for only a month.
The Dane recently failed in the second round of the Australian Open – without direct support from Becker. Instead, the former Wimbledon winner nominated for the broadcaster from Germany Eurosport In acting as an expert. But he later said that he communicated with Ron every day.
Baker returned to coaching in October after nearly 7 years. “I wish Holger all the best and will always be his biggest fan. “I really enjoyed this journey together,” Baker said.
