At least three people were killed in a knife attack in Würzburg. Police said more people were injured. The alleged perpetrator, a 24-year-old Somali, was arrested.

What we know
- Three people were killed and five others seriously injured in a knife attack in downtown Würzburg. Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Hermann said Friday evening that at least two of those five victims were seriously injured. There are also other people who were slightly injured.
- Lower Franconia police managed to arrest the alleged perpetrator. He does not appear to have any accomplices.
- According to the police, the alleged perpetrator is a 24-year-old Somali who has been living in Würzburg since 2015. He was injured upon arrest but his life is not in danger.
- According to Hermann, the alleged perpetrator was undergoing psychiatric treatment.
