The Swiss freestyle skier also won the third competition of the season at Mammoth Mountain.
Mathilde Grimaud remains unbeaten in the slopestyle discipline this winter. The Freiburg native was also in a class of her own at the third stop of the season at Mammoth Mountain. By obtaining 66.30 points, she clearly outperformed the Americans Eleanor Andrews and Jay Ricomini.
Sarah Hoflin of Geneva narrowly missed out on her first World Cup podium this winter in fourth place.
Gremaud, previously unbeaten in downhill style on the Stubai Glacier and in Laax, claimed her fifth win of the season. It has also controlled Big Air Domain twice, in Chur and Beijing. The Olympic champion and now world champion has twelve World Cup victories.
Ragitelli on the podium for the second time
In the men's competition, Andre Ragitelli came in third place behind Americans Alexander Hall and Colby Stevenson. For the Graubünden native, it was his first top-three finish in downhill style this season. He also finished third in Big Air in Beijing at the beginning of December.
