PlayStation Plus: Assassin's Creed and more – 13 new titles in February

Sony is rolling out the big guns again in February with PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium and has now announced 13 additional titles for the game subscription. Absolute heavyweights like Assassin's Creed: Valhalla are also included.

Anyone who has subscribed to PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium and has been eagerly waiting for new gaming fodder will now be provided by Sony once again. This month's new additions were announced today – and they should all be available as part of the subscription from February 20, 2024.

Even at the average PS Plus level, you get a number of well-known heavyweights, including Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Valhalla or Need for Speed: Unbound and The Outer Worlds. While you can race for hours in Criterion Racer's single-player and multiplayer modes, you get the sci-fi RPG The Outer Worlds from the makers of Pillars of Eternity and Fallout: New Vegas in the Spacer's Choice Edition for PS5 .

In The Outer Wirlds, you wake up decades later on a colonial spaceship en route to the outer edge of the galaxy and find yourself in the middle of a massive conspiracy that could lead to the destruction of the remote Halcyon colony. How the sci-fi epic ends also depends on the decisions you make during the game.

• Tales of Zestiria (PlayStation 4)

In addition to these nine games, the most expensive level, PlayStation Plus Premium, also, as usual, offers classic games on top. There are a total of four titles out in February, including Resistance: Retribution, which was originally published for the PlayStation Portable.

All new games will be available to play next week from February 20, 2024 – provided you have a matching PS Plus subscription. Free games on the cheapest tier, February's PS Plus Essential, have already been announced before.
