Mosman submits Environmental Plan for Project EP 145 for approval in Australia – January 15, 2024 at 1:04 pm

(Alliance News) – Mosman Oil & Gas Ltd has submitted an Environmental Management Plan for its EP 145 project to Australia's Northern Territory Government on Monday.

Mosman is an oil exploration, development and production company based in the United States and Australia.

Mossman said the two remaining approvals are the EMP's approval before the 2D seismic acquisition, which is expected in 2024, and the re-issuance of the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority's certificate.

Completion of the farm-in deal, announced in October, is subject to government approval of the proposed operator change and share transfer, Mossman said.

Greenvale Pty Lim, who signed the Mosman farm contract, informed Mosman that it had received the stamp duty notice and had paid the amount.

Mossman said the next step was ministerial approval and it was now expected that the stamp duty had been paid.

“The company has no control over the timing of ministerial approval, but based on progress to date, expects it to be granted in the near future,” the company said.

Mosman chief executive Andy Carroll commented: “I am delighted to have reached these two milestones in the exploration and farm contract process. This leaves us on track to collect seismic data in 2024 and then drill in 2025 for testing”. Helium, hydrogen and hydrocarbon potential in the region.”

Mosman shares were up 4.0% at 0.013 pence in midday London on Monday.
