This comes as a surprise! Fabrice Zumbrunnen, 52, will step down as head of Migros’ public administration at the end of April 2023. After ten years in public administration and five years as its head, Zumbrunnen, the first president of Migros from French-speaking Switzerland, wants to forge a new path professionally.

The successor has not yet been decided
He finds it difficult to leave this “great company with its committed employees”. “On the other hand, I look forward to the tasks ahead of us,” explains the man from Neuchâtel, who is the head of the country’s largest private employer.
Migros clearly wasn’t ready to leave. According to the announcement, the MGB is now beginning the search for a successor to Zumbrunnen. After all: Zumbrunnen is available for transition and will support the introduction of his successor. It is not yet clear what he intends to do after his last day on the job.
