Juventus deleted Bonucci and McKinney from the team

Leonardo Bonucci has played for Juventus Turin since 2010, with the exception of one break. According to a report, the traditional club from Piedmont should not squabble with its captain. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the European champion was surprisingly excluded from the squad by his employer.

Sports newspaper reported on Friday that the 36-year-old was informed of the decision by those responsible for the record while on holiday in Tuscany. Former Schalke player Weston McKinney (24, contract until 2025), who is on loan to Leeds United, should also not be part of the squad for next season.

It is also said that defenseman and 121-time national player Bonucci should not be allowed to train with the team or participate in the planned trip to the USA. If Juventus confirms the facts, the veteran will have to look for a new club a year before the end of his contract in order to secure the hoped-for nomination to the 2024 European Championship in Germany with match training. Brazilian Danilo is said to be the new captain at Juventus.
