It is reported that Lopez Lorenzo took over the position in September 2021. His predecessor, Lara Warner, left the bank in April. It has been criticized for two disasters surrounding US hedge fund Archegos and the closure of Greensell.
CS does not want to comment on a possible departure
Bloomberg continued that Lopez Lorenzo’s departure has nothing to do with the strategy review that CS will announce on Thursday. In stark contrast to the possible departure of investment bank chief Christian Messner, which was speculated last week. It is possible that his unit will be reorganized as part of the conversion.
